The voice mechanism was rotted but how could I not save this packaging! This was found about 10 years ago sitting on a shelf somewhere in the midwest. A friend picked it up for me! I love it!

I’m sick, of course, that the voice mechanism was rotted but next time save it despite whatever mold, rust or creatures may be roaming about. I encase such stuff in plastic so I have as much of the original product as possible. With this said, there’s lots of other excellence going on here, not the least of which is the boy’s hairstyle. What the hell is going on on top of his head? Looks like you could throw some candy or nuts in that trough and it wouldn’t budge. I’ve seen photos of Justin Timberlake when he was that age and I’m pretty sure he copped that hairstyle. Love the Handi-craft logo as well. And any discussion of the name “Fairy Queen” could go on for hours so I won’t even bring it up.

…Meanwhile, I wonder which one became the “Fairy Queen”.

This is a wonderful item !

I just want to know what the phone is saying for this little chap to make such a face! It’s like he is saying “Oh, how fabulous”. I think the most fun thing would be to track these children down and see what on earth they are up to now. He’s so happy but they gave him the “blue phone”! The voice mechanism, would it have been the voice of the “Fairy Queen”?

I thought about what the voice would be too. Unless it is, indeed, the Fairy Queen what does that product name have to do with anything? And it’s so funny to think that all these thrills would be gotten from a measly 10 messages that repeat over and over again.
