Don’t start me on the airlines today – so many obvious problems exist that the issue of stewardess/steward fashion gone down the drain doesn’t even register a blip on the dysfunction list. But as someone to whom stewardess/steward high-fashion once provided a great distraction to the tedium of flying I bemoan the loss of yet another vintage treasure buried forever. Long live these hats!
I remember the 60′s fashions! I was a wee thing but clearly remember the outfits as they were so colorful back then! Now I can’t believe that the airlines would even let their employees walk into a plane wearing some of the modern and hideous outfits of this era! Long live 60′s fashions!
