City Jail Memphis, 1960′s (Valentine’s Day Contest Submission) |
|

This is another one of my Mom and Dad and it was taken at the Mid South Fair in Memphis Tenn. I love these cardboard picture backdrops! Was it cool to pretend you were in jail? I do dig my Dad’s “James Dean” hair-do tho!

Stunning. I love everything from your mom’s hair and outfit, your dad’s J. Dean do and classic plaid shirt not to mention the fact that they’re spending time in jail for Valentine’s Day.
I absolutely adore the way the stone has been painted on the jail. There was so much going on in Memphis when this was taken but there’s no doubt that behind that cardboard cut out was the best place to be.
wow, this is incredible…how cool that you have so many great old pics of your family!!!!
I have a small stash of family pics but there are some real classics in the pile.
