In keeping with the astronomical theme, this vintage Hallmark Valentine’s Day card keeps expanding much like a black hole, each time you open/turn the page. The unopened card below measures 4″ x 6″…

The card opens to measure 6″ x 9″ (below):

Open again and it becomes 9″ x 12″ (below):

One more time and it expands to 12″ x 18″ (below):

Finally, the completely opened card measures a whopping 18″ x 24″ (below):

Here’s the reverse side (below):

This card looks so familiar to me I either received it or sent it to someone on Valentine’s Day at some point in my past. I was always attracted to things that were orbital in nature, shooting off into outer space and also loved cards that were out of the ordinary.

You get an A for effort for your excellent job of documenting the card with so many shots!

Wow– I see the “Love is in the Air” award logo next to my submission and I’m under the “Winners” banner in the other section– does this mean I’m awarded one of Bubbles’ highly-coveted signed romantic paintings? If so, what do I have to do to get it?
