Great little glass novelty ashtrays. 3.5″ squares. No markings. From the 60′s or 70′s. It tickles me to no end that these were a gift to me from Pamela Des Barres.

 I’ll Have Some God With That Cobbler |
Pamela DesBarres is one of my best friends so that tickles me too! If anyone should know about the subject on these ashtrays it’s Pamela. Also, she is without question the best gift giver in the world. She still rabidly thrifts and pick up gifts for people so that by the time it’s your birthday or Hanukkah or Christmas or any other special occasion she’s totally prepared with awesome stuff. There were six of us, all kitsch lovers including Paul Reubens, aka Pee-wee Herman, and Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo, who used to celebrate Christmas every year by giving everyone twenty gifts that we would collect throughout the year. We all have trickled off over the years but Pamela still shops in the same spirit.
I don’t have these exact ashtrays but I do have a bunch of ones that are even smaller with a print on top of the smoked glass background. I love them being small as you can place a lot of them anywhere.
