I spotted this painting of a Lonely Lowe’s at a county fair a few years ago. I like how there are no cars in the lot, and how the trees around it look kind of tropical though the fair was in West Virginia. It seems a little abandoned, except for the birds flying overhead. Poor Lonely Lowe’s. As you can see, it won a ribbon, but in my humble opinion it should have taken a blue one.

This is a pretty astounding work of art. Not only is it unbelievable that someone would choose Lowes as the subject of their work but that it looks like the store location is buried deep in the rain forest. I expect fishing boats to arrive in the parking lot any moment.

This is truly an astounding painting. I hope you took this home with you. I would’ve broken the piggy bank for this one.

Alas, it wasn’t for sale! Only on display at the fair’s art competition.

Nice observation. Perhaps painted by an overly loyal Lowe’s employee who has to forget the job in his spare time.
