This is a vintage pair of salt and pepper shakers in the shapes of a skull (with horns, so is this a devil/skeleton?) and a hand with black fingernails. The tiny bit of blue at the bottom of the hand is putty to prevent breakage from earthquakes or EVIL.

I love these. The skull is so lumpy and the teeth are painted on so haphazardly. And I love how outstretched the fingers on the hand are, especially the little finger. Also love the pepper hole in the middle of the hand (though I might have gone for out of the top of the middle finger).

I’m guessing these are homemade. If not, the manufacturers should be put out of business (which is an excellent thing to say about a manufacturer when it comes to kitsch)!

Yes, about the only thing that looks precise or professional is the perfect hole in the middle of the hand.
