My mom found this “Kitchy Book” and decided to hand it down, that’s a whole other story.
I love it, so oddball, so cool. Whatever your opinion on who loves who, this is a pretty thick book of Cartoonists, absolutely an underground bunch of artists breaking out…

The perfect Christmas gift!! I know so many gals who look like the drawing on the back cover it’s crazy.
Whoa! I’ll assume the author/artist is a lesbian. Otherwise, the front cover looks derogatory to me. While I’ve seen a lot of unattractive butch dykes, I’ve also seen plenty of very attractive masculine looking lesbians. Perhaps this is just a joke I don’t get.
Maybe I’m just too groggy to enjoy this today.
This kind of stuff is always touch and go. What thrills one often offends another. I’m going to guess this was compiled by a lesbian. Otherwise I agree with you.

This is a perfect retort to those who claim lesbians have no sense of humor.
So true Douglas~
Here is info about the publisher… Cleis Press is an independent publisher of books in the areas of sexuality, erotica, feminism, gay and lesbian studies, gender studies, fiction, and human rights. The press was founded in 1980 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, later moved to San Francisco, and is now based out of Berkeley, CA[1]. It was founded by Fr√©d√©rique Delacoste, Felice Newman and Mary Winfrey Trautmann[2]. I got this from Wiki… I can imagine the creative team laughing and talking about the concept of the book.
Thanks for posting this. I feel a little better. I’m usually the first to laugh but there was just something about this….
Thanks again.
Looking at the details… pen and ink, cartoonists tools, no teeth, excessive and bad hair, bad fashion. packed jeans and what looks to be tomatoes and various food items along the back wall and they are being boo-ed, just so over the top.
Thank you so much for Certifikitch.
I am having so much fun sharing my prizes and perusing all the shared Kitsch.
