This is in response to IamFluuf’s comment on the brilliant meatloaf portrait of me made by aKitschionado Denny at https://www.awmok.com/2011/01/23/its-the-allee-willis-meatloaf-part-1/.  Fluff wrote, “Ah brussels sprouts!…I like it when they have brussels sprouts on the stalk and it’s like some big staff like Noah would carry.”  So I’m posting this GORGEOUS Brussel Sprouts Bouquet, a gift to my dear friend, Gail Zappa, widow of Frank, on her birthday New Year’s day from my equally dear friend, Charles Phoenix. Charles is brilliant and obsessed with coming up with new food designs from his test kitchen. In fact, within a week or so I’ll be posting a video of me assisting him making his signature Cherpumple, three pies stuffed into three cakes that he was featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal with about a month ago. The Cherpumple contains no brussels sprouts but is certainly every bit as pretty as this Brussel Sprouts Bouquet.

Oh my LORD! That is magnificent! I’ve always wanted to do something spectacular with one of those. Oh leave it to Charles! And say, I’ve met Gail too. She wqas really sweet to me at a Bridal Shower. I was EMORMOUSLY pregnant! Wow, Flashback! At the time I met Gail, Diva was shaving her head and I wondered what Gail asher mother, thought of that. She said “Oh it’s great let her have fun”. I thought “I wonder if I will be that cool or will I be like MY Mom and want my kid’s hair MY way.?”
Hmmmm. I believe I have my answer… Considering how much fun I’m having with my son’s mohawk. OK HE wanted the mohawk and I’m letting him express himself… but I’m having my way insisting that he let me paint it. Hmmm.

Wow! As much as I HATE Brussel Sprouts, I LOVE this!!!!!! I’ve never ssen them look more beautiful!!!

HAhaha, Wow Fuff, your son is very lucky to have such a great Mom! When I pierced my nose at 15, my mother didn’t speak to me for almost 2 weeks, which was part of my plan, of course….It only led to “what can I pierce next” :D
