Welcome to what the inside of my head looks like…At least, I’m convinced this is what it looks like…I know it FEELS like this….This is from a favorite movie of mine called Footlight Parade. I can’t embed the video, but you can click the link. It’s nuts that I haven’t posted this yet! It’s pretty much my favorite thing to watch (aside from videos of cherpumple making).

My taste in movies actually starts a little later than this, by a decade, but if I were going to watch a 40s movie it would most certainly be with a bunch of women jumping around in little cat outfits. And I know this is a very famous film so I’m sure I’ll catch it if see it flipping through channels.

And yes, surpassed only by watching a Cherpumple being made! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IupsHYsXHB4

yeah, sometimes films like this can be slow but I truly love them…maybe because I move slow! :D I”m a big fan of Busby Berkeley even though I know he can easily be considered a raging sexist for making all girls into faceless automatons with the same proportions etc….But wow, what production numbers…that stuff just makes me wild and appeals to me so much more than modern films…I mena, to not have the technology we have avaliable now and to pull off something so amazing….just blows my mind…so many people and so much work involved…Every costume had to be sewn, every set built, every talented singer/dancer actor right on their marks….I love it…..still always wows me…but then, not as much as cherpumple making, that’s for sure…..

i thought someone may have slipped something in my ice tea! This is fabulous and the thought of running around in little cat suits like this just sends me! Stuff like this always takes up a little space in my brain too! Wind-Up, I loved this and it really made me laugh. The dance numbers are hysterical.

What a great clip. I love that big, weird face in the middle of the stage/floor.
