I am posting this as a way to say thank you to Allee for motivating me to buy a “Galaxy” bowling ball with original bag, all for $5.00 dollars. Thanks Allee! I never thought I would be buying bowling balls, now what do I do with it?

Love that this is a postcard. A sport that makes people so happy. Love this card from the 50’s when bowling was truly king.

As for what to do with your Galaxy ball, you can plant it in the garden like I do. Though with my hundreds of planted bowling balls I suppose mine is more of a farm. Would be curious to know how the ball does in the snow so maybe you could do a bball science experiment?

What color is your ball and what color is the bag?

Despite the fact that i obviosuly love all things bowling, the one thing I dont love is bowling itself. I love being in bowling alleys but more for the sound of the balls hitting each other and the pins and the hot dogs and the shoes than for the actual sport itself.

I love everything about bowling (including all the sights and sounds). The hard part is getting people to go bowling with me, but once in a while I do manage to gather up some friends to go. I’m not a very good bowler, I either hit a strike or roll a gutter, but I always have fun. I also love to miniature golf, but no one will do that with me. :(
