White Tower Burger Buildings! |

I just learned about White Tower burgers as I am watching the Blaxploitation film “Detroit 9000″ and I believe the picture here was the one used for a scene in the film. I have no idea if this building is till standing but White Tower burgers popped up all over the place.

I lived on on White Towers growing up. The hamburgers were tiny but square, way before Wendy’s.
Just looking at this building makes me swoon.
Denny, did you hit one in when you were Detroit? There’s still a bunch of them around. I almost stopped and ate one in your honor.
I know this is too much info but I LOVE White Castle even though they always have me end up spending way too much time in a certain room of the house.
ALWAYS stop and eat in my honor, especially a White Castle.
I did see one in Detroit but it wasn’t really classic like some of the joints pictured here.
