Got this in a blog today. Thought it was kinda neat. I loved the ppa loved the homage paid to it in Xanadu, lamented it’s destruction. So it made me happy to see these spires again. Complete with flag poles.

Did you know the Pan Pacific in LA on Beverly east of Fairfax in LA? That’s what these are a model of. Streamline Deco rules! The Pan Pacific ruled but, of course, the wrecking ball hit it and in it’s pace stands a pathetic cinderblock replica. Happy to see Disneyland keepin’ it alive.

Makes me feel all “young” again! Triggering memories of my one and only trip to Disneyland……….at 8 yrs old……..let’s just say a few years ago! ;-)
    Thanks for the post!
