   I love these old plastic/celluloid/Bakelite purses. I carried one very similar to this to my high school prom, although it was clear plastic all the way through. I died a handkerchief orange and stuffed it inside so that my purse matched my heels.

   I love the sound the lids make when they snap close to the bottom.

   This one looks like it’s in great shape.

     I think I paid a few dollars for it.. a few weeks later I saw the same one priced in the $30 range, so I am pretty pleased.
