I picked this up in a box full of vintage print ads at an antique show in Fresno, California. I’m thinkin’ it was some kind of label for a fruit tray used for harvesting/shipping peaches or somethin’. In any event, never one to miss a double entendre, it now hangs proudly in my kitchen near some other rooster kitsch.

Hi hon, I’ll climb back up there again tomorrow. It was my quest at one time do do the kitchen in roosters, but my better half prefers grapes, now I got a little of both goin’ on. I’ve actually never seen any other gay cocks (the fowl kind). Are there more collectibles I should know about? I would like to learn more about the label/company I’m originally from Fresno so there are lots of packing houses etc… Have a great rest of the weekend, there’s a new true blood on tonight. Hey Ted. First of all, I’m a True Blood fan too. In regards to the label, I love it! I’ve seen lots of these types of vintage labels including Gay Johnny, Cock Sure, Dyke, Hooker, Little Fairies, Hustler, Top Man, Queen Fruits, Kitchen Queen, etc. They are all a hoot.
I’m so glad they didn’t kill Jessica off. marni’s startin’ to get on my nerves! :o)
P.S. the google search for information on this collectible is not going like I thought it would…whoa! What the… OMG… maybe it is… ;o)
