This is a vintage sticker for screaming queen “flamboyant” comedian Rip Taylor’s rugs. It wasn’t until I Googled it that I found out the rugs he sells are actually toupees, which, of course, made perfect sense.

Needless to say, I would kill for the entire line of Rip’s toupees. Completely brilliant that he calls them rugs, not that there’s anything unique about calling a toupee a rug, but in his case it’s perfect. Also that they are Taylor Made. How did you find the sticker separate from the toupee?
You find some of the best kitsch ever! This would be fabulous on a t shirt.
I found the stickers at an estate sale but no sign of any toupees. I have a handful of them– if you want one, let me know and I’ll mail it to you.
