I love this graphic style on a book cover. Very late 1960s/early 70s. I love even more that the building above God and this guy’s head looks like it’s a train and could derail and crush both of them at any time. His white jacket morphing into a cloud, mountain or Fluff or whatever it is is very nice too.
I just love the art on this book, I would have grabbed it in a heartbeat (if I’d found it). WORD paperbacks were high amongst the Jesus-centric comics of the 70s, when many were convinced “He” was coming this way. I never thought that he was, but as a showbiz guy I thought : C’mon Down!
Maybe my buist thoughy is ..
