I wasn’t prepared for this item that I spotted in Allee’s storage unit.  It’s Allee’s DeSoto!  I don’t know the year, I was too busy snapping pictures and picking me jaw up off the floor.

BEAUTIFUL.

Amazing car door handles.

I was dying to open the car doors but I didn’t have access to much space.  It’s a tight fit in the storage unit.

I know you couldn’t get to the front of it but that’s the honey spot for photos.

I bought this in 1976 soon after I moved to LA. The exterior was perfect. But inside there was a Lincoln Continental front seat so I replaced it with the original, which I was lucky enough to find in central California.

I drove this off and on umtil 1990 but it’s been on blocks ever since. I hope to be able to retore it fully one day. The original Hemi engine is still in it. It’s like driving a living room on wheels.

I have many honey spots at Willis Wonderland. What always works best for skin tone, tan and all around well being, is the backdrop of the yard, in front of the polka dot storage cabinets. So many honey spots, so many.

  3. Very nice Denny!

Allee, correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t this baby a three-tone?

I love the font on fireflight, and didn’t know that desoto had a model called “coronado.” How cool.

It really is amazing to look at. I hope one day when this is up and running, that Allee would at least let me drive it round the block so I could say I drove one of these!
