Jaunty Christmas Styrofoam Ball Duo from Fun World Inc |

I could not resist these two holiday icons – santa and a snowman, faithfully repproduced in what appears to be a nylon sock encasing two styrofoam balls. All the great kitschy ingredients were used in making these cheerful guys – styrofoam, googly eyes, felt, yarn and gingham. Originally I thought they were hand made but upon closer inspection they are from overseas.
It certainly is a Fun World with these two in it. Happy New Year!

I haven’t thought about these things for years but as soon as I looked at your post I flashed on one of my favorite toys growing up that was made exactly like this. OMG, I love these because of those memories as well as the fact that they look so incredibly stupid, especially Mr. Snowman, whose shape is so lovingly featured sans ornament. Thank you, Fun World and Mod Betty!
