Allee Willis’ Kitsch O’ The Day – Out with Lily Tomlin and RuPaul! |

Me and Lily are planning our trip to Detroit in April to see the first high school production of my musical, The Color Purple, at her high school, Cass, and my conducting the glee club and marching band at my high school, Mumford. We’re also going to be taking a lot of meetings to figure out something to do in Detroit together permanently.

Then out for stupendous fried chicken, yams, greens, mac & cheese, peach cobbler and brownie gooey cake at MP’s Soul Food in North Hollywood with RuPaul, Tom Star and Ben Bove:

Life is exceptionally sweet!

I don’t think I will make the Detroit dates. I don’t see Lily holding a “hello Denny” sign.
If you’ll be there I will make SURE to get that in the nrxt photo
I mean ‘next’
I’m jealous of any outing to MP’s Soul Food. I need to run up there!
Yes, but I tried to order from there yesterday for dinner last night for an OUTRAGEOUS Manly Handz session with me and Luenell, (massages by three incredible guys who come to your house with champagne and rose petals) and the MP guy said he wouldn’t guarantee they’re be food left by 6. Despite pointing out we were ordering at noon he was pretty beligerent about it. So MP’s, despite KILLER chicken and brownie gooey cake, is off my list for a while.
Yeah! MPs sounds like my kinda place. I’m all over what you say y’all had. There is no way i’d take MPs off my list as i’ve found that you have to be there at the best soul food joints, none of this order out stuff. I found that out at Glenda’s in Poche Bridge, if ya ain’t there before the food sells out, come back tomorrow. The best places don’t have dumpsters, everything sells out every day…at least around here.
