Butter Bean Jackson – 24 x 18 (a painting by Denny) |

I tried for an hour to think of a name for this and don’t ask me how I came up with the name “Butter Bean Jackson”. His hat looks more like a gigantic nipple and some people on Face Book told me his hat looked like a sex toy. Regardless, this painting makes me laugh with his string bean arms, jellybean feet and big bug eyes.

I don’t know where the name Butter Bean Jackson came from either though with that hat whoever this is looks greased and ready to insert himself somewhere. So the Buttered part of it is spot on.
I think “Butter Bean” was one of Shelley Winters henchmen in the film “Cleopatra Jones”. Then I added “Jackson”. I’m not sure, I do know I got it from some film I might have been watching.
