Welcome to Bedrock City, a tourist trap on the way to the Grand Canyon from Williams, Arizona. This modern stone-age family will leave you speechless with it’s restaurant, museum and all around fun stop before arriving at that giant crevice in the earth. Yabba dabba do it!

Believe it or not, I’ve never been to the Grand Canyon. Really stupid as it’s not like it’s THAT far from LA. This will be extra inducement for me jumping in the van and getting my butt there.

Is it super cheesy inside or tastefully done?

  2. My wife and I spent two days there. Not cheesy at all. It changes color as the day wears on. Amazing.

  3. If you look up the word “tacky” in the dictionary, Bedrock City is the picture next to the definition.

Before Bedrock City existed, we drove thru the SW and stayed in Williams, then onto the G.C. Like witnessing the beginning of time. Allee, the Grand Canyon is a bucket list must for all. Be there at dawn as the sun rises. For an extra tingle, listen to “2001 A Space Odyssey” in your ear buds. Beyond description.

I’ve never been there in person, tho the folks did many years ago. I have flown over it going to the Left Coast. What i found amazing was watching the terrain below. It looked like steps going down to a small crevice waaaay down there. I gotta make it in person one of these daze.
