I love this shot so much and the reason being is that it looks as if Nibbles is staring at that picture of Allee and Hakweye and she’s so curious about it….I think Momma kitty was actually more concerned about her children lurking nearby. They don’t really get along.

You’re 100% right. It does look like Nibbles is peering around the corner of that cat house to get get a better look at the 1977 me and her stepbrother, Hawkeye, my 1st adult pet ever.
Once again, I would apologize for the messiness of the room but it’s the art studio, in recent years commandeered by Nibbles as the only room she’ll go in. I’m sure you can’t miss the litter box poised in the air in the other cat tree. Nibbles does not like to go on the ground for fear her children, Sweet Potato and Nibbles, will come and devour her.
I got in the middle of mama and children and was scarred for weeks.
I think she is staring at you and Hawkeye, it’s like she just noticed after all this time that you are looking down at her food and water dish.
I love your cats.
