Spotted this at a thrift shop. The middle portion is needlepoint. Scary.

Why on earth the middle of a tray meant for serving is needlepoint is beyond me and, therefore, very kitschy. Way too lumpy for a drink to reliably stand on. And way too hard to clean if something spills. Love how huge the dog is compared to the duck too. Although when I first looked at the dog it looked like a pile of vomit.
