Getting Buzzed |

I found this 1960′s rack-toy at a recent yard sale and it made me wonder why I haven’t seen contemporary versions of this cheesy toy at the .99¢ stores. It’s essentially a piece of plastic that buzzes. Note the incredibly detailed instructions and diagram that explain how to insert a simple battery.

Just imagine how many chaffed chins there were on little boys the year this thing came out.
Great, of course, that it buzzes but my absolute favorite thing is that the very bottom of the instructions where it says simply “shaver”, as if one wasn’t aware that that’s what this item was after reading everything else on the packaging.
Wow, this is a pretty twisted find.
I’m jealous.
