I have the same coffee table that is featured in this picture.  The real focus should be on this amazing palm tree.  I wonder if this palm tree is any relation to Feathers the pam tree?

  1. Allee Willis Allee Willis says:

The slat coffee table underneath the plastic box with the pink and white striped towel is hard to really get a look at but it’s a classic 1950s blonde wood coffee table that was already ruined by being painted over when I got it. But it was only 5 bucks and one day I’ll get around to stripping it.

I made the palm tree out of foamcore in 1996 for a set I was building for a show at the Roxy in LA. You can see it and some of its friends in a bunch of shots here: http://www.alleewillis.com/art/sets-props/index.htm and then click Sheila Sands. These palm trees became the models for the wooden ones I use in my live shows now. You can catch a few glimpses of them here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iY-ymOeZuqo&feature=youtu.be
