Another one of my faves. The white boy who always wanted to be a pimp.
It’s Bruno Vesota!!!!
I don’t know who that is.
This started out as a painting inspired by Divine’s “Male” role in the film “Trouble In Mind” by Alan Rudolph. I wasn’t happy with it so I ended up revisiting this painting and messing about til I liked it. This is an early one, and one I think was sent to the “bone yard” of canvases.
Bruno VeSota was an actor. He’s best known for a lot of schlock type films, but he was a really good actor….he really does kinda look like your painting! google him and you’ll see what i mean by the likeness right down to the look askance!
Wow, dead ringer!!
i know, right!?! too bad the painting made the trash…i’d hang a painting of bruno vesota in my house any day!
