Happy to say that Angeline’s a good friend of mine. Everyone in LA knows who she is but very few can claim to be friends.
I threw a party for her at my house when this single was released in the late 80s. 20/20 was filming my party for a big segment on it but there was some kind of political or natural disaster the night it was supposed to air and it was preempted. I never got a copy of it either. But I do have great photos and memories from that night, not the least of which was that Angeline was supposed to lip-synch the record but couldn’t remember the words and we had to shut the record off after the first chorus.
