Miss Suzette doll case from the early ’60s (I think). She was a Barbie competitor from the Uneeda Doll Company. It looks like I paid around $12 for the case.

Here’s some info: http://www.vintagedollcollector.com/uneeda/suzette10/suzette.html … though the others I saw on eBay etc looked a LOT more like Barbie, like these on a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.462532017108286.117654.192228434138647&type=1

Beautiful! I love the colors, I love that kind of patent leather, and I really love that the inside of the case looks like a little closet. Did you have the doll as well?

  2. ropo says:

No, I must have just bought the case at some point. I didn’t like dolls when I was little. My poor mother just wanted me to be girly and I was a tomboy. I love the colors too! I have seen the same one in black but this one really pops.

    This is a nice find.
