I picked this up for a very small amount at a tip recycle shop in Australia, i wasn’t sure if it was worth anything but i thought it was pretty different so i grabbed it, WADE stamp on bottom and it is in perfect condition.   Does anyone know anything about it and how i can get a value.  I’m a newbie so i hope i haven’t done anything wrong hehe

I don’t know anything specific about this bowl other than WADE sounds very familiar and that bowl is absolutely GORGEOUS!

I have hundreds of pieces of pottery from this era. Any kind of star, especially with a spray, and the use of pink and turquoise pins it that it’s from the Atomic 1950s. But what pushes this one way over the top are the streamlined shape of the top edge, the holes in either side, and that pedestal leg. Just beautiful and a great find.

How tall is it and is there more than one leg?

I can’t help you with a value but I can tell you it’s a great bowl.

WOW!!! So,so jealous of this one!! Yeah, Shirlie, thanks for handling it! Wade has been around for a long time and they weren’t as expensive as the super high end stuff…my there are probably some Wade glass figurines around my mum’s house…
