I’m not sure what this statue is made of. Can’t remember if it’s wood or marble.

I absolutely love this thing. It’s one of the first pieces of atomic design I bought when I started collecting furniture in the mid-70s.
It’s made out of solid wood. Can’t tell you what kind as I don’t know such things. But she does have a hole on top of her head which means that she was made to be a lamp. But I’ve never used her as such and never will as she’s much too pretty to be In shadow by a shade.
Wow, LOVE his too! The wood grain placement is stunning…Turning it into a lamp would have detracted from the overall impression. Gorgeous!
