Great Post!!!.. They are Fabulous!!!..
These were produced by a small company in Texas so I’m not sure how far they were distributed. I just saw them in a local supermarket one day and snapped them up.
I searched for them as soon as I saw your post but couldn’t find any available. I saw some on Amazon but there was only a checkbox you could select to get an e-mail notification whenever the product becomes available. Also found a few recipes to make with the sauce. But this looks like it came and went pretty quick. So even more fantastic that you have all 4 of them. The Amazon page I found said there were 6 of them, though I only saw 4 in all of my searches unless Miss Jane and the banker guy had ones named after them too.
I think there were only four flavors and were sold online by the six-pack. That does make me wonder what kind of condiments Mr. Drysdale and Miss Jane would make? Since Mr. Drysdale’s a banker I’m guessing some sort of green sauce.
LOL…
Perfect Kitsch!!!…This is such a great idea!!!.. (Mr Drysdale)
I wish there was Allee Willis “Ba-De-Ya” BBQ Sauce!!!
There is!! It’s called Boogaloo Wonderland sauce and you can get it on Wyoming and Curtis in Detroit or at my live shows. We’ll be bottling it soon. The Boogaloo Wonderland sandwich is part of my show. The restaurant in Detroit’s name is D’Emilis but I’m begging the chef to change the (lousy and hard to pronounce) name to just Chef Greg. When I come to Detroit in May to record the theme song I wrote for the city the sandwich and sauce will accompany me everywhere I go. http://www.alleewillis.com/photos/chef-gregs-demilis-cafe/index.php
How the heck did I miss this??? Yumm!!!!!
We’re going to check out D’Emils…can’t wait.
It’s a tiny place. 1 table. Mostly takeout. Ask for Chef Greg and tell him you’re a member of AWMOK. Don’t go Nov. 7-11 as he’ll be out here in LA for my show.
That is so cool!!!.. Did I see Mr Christopher Roddy from the Chrysler Commercial fame in pictures from your 21st Night of September Show?
Yes, tho u won’t see him at the show coming up. That’s a story for another time! But this show is VERY Detroit-centric.
Boogaloo Wonderland sandwich with matching sauce? Oh my!!! my!
Wait until you taste it! Free samples at my live show Nov. 8 & 9. Worth the trip to LA! http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/258274
