Here’s another shot from the Yamboree an East Texas festival celebrating the yam. The “snake girl” was actually a woman with her head sticking out of a box with a cheap snake costume attached.

That sounds like the only kind of snake woman that I would enjoy! And, needless to say, I am elated that these kind of displays still thrive. And at Yamboree, an event I’m exceedingly jealous I didn’t get to attend. What a bargain for a buck!
I want to know what’s in those 2 huge drink cups with the big bubbles and straws sticking out of the top of them that the hefty gal in the black T-shirt is toting around. Hopefully not snake juice.
The banners above the tent are what did it for me especially the one on the right. I really enjoy the artwork you find at carnivals and circuses.
Those two drinks the woman is holding are lemonades with plastic lemons on top. I had one myself that day.
