The life size replica plane took 6 weeks to complete and 6,500 egg cartons and is 36ft long. The egg boxes are sold in aid of the charity Help for Heroes. Designed by Charlotte Austin and Jack Munro it will go on display at the Imperial war Museum Duxford UK.

Now in its second year, March Fourth is an annual fundraising event in aid of Help for Heroes. Eggs for Soldiers was created in 2011 to aid wounded servicemen and women returning from conflict.
