These looked home made to me. I spotted these at a garage sale and are another item that I think took up residence in my house or a relatives back in the day. LOve the mushroom, nob-like handles on the lids.

I hate mushroom shaped things and I HATE matte finish in ceramic glaze. However, there is no more featured vegetable in the kitsch universe than the mushroom and therefore I must worship it, matte finish or not. And that it’s a set means i worship it even more.
