These postcards arrived from a friend this week, they are fabrics , both from the 1950’s, I just love the designs .
The fabric above is furnishing fabric c.1950 from the firm Horrockses.
This is Lanfield dress fabric from 1958

Beautiful and completely fantastic that the fabric is on a postcard.
I was about to say that the first design was too conservative for me. Then I took a gander at the 2nd postcard and almost had a heart attack. To say that I would kill for a bolt of that Lanfield dress fabric is the understatement of the century. OMG, what a suit made out of that would look like!!
