Lost In Space Lunchbox

I couldn’t resist this. Just look at it, it’s a lunchbox! And shaped the right way like a mailbox! And I’ll never get back my Atom Ant (namesake of Adam Ant) lunchbox, so this is the next best thing. I’m not sure because it’s still shrink-wrapped, but I think there’s a thermos inside.

I’m not enough of a Lost In Space buff to to know whether this is vintage or repro and I can’t see enough through the shrink-wrap. But what I love about this IS the fact that its shrink-wrapped and you left it that way. I don’t think shrink-wrapping was around in the original days of the show and wrapping the handle in tissue paper to protect it during shipping wasn’t a packaging extravagance anyone was springing for. I love the graphics though, and I love the extraterrestrial effect created by the shrink wrap. So in my own way I’m enjoying this as much as you do.

As a lunchbox collector I can tell you an original of this costs major scratch. Enjoy this without the heavy price tag, and the art is the same too! I have a few domes, but I don’t have this even as a repro… fun!
