My Mom made and painted this bench for my son Patrick 30 years ago. I’ve always loved the car. Patrick displays it proudly in his office.

So completely cute. Love that it’s handpainted, love the way the paint has aged, and love that car! That was the only shape the car I wanted to drive one I was a kid (and young adult and adult!).
So great that your son still displays it in his office.

The bench seat is about 18 X 6, and the legs aren’t longer than a foot. I can’t remember if he was 3 or 5 when she made it, but definitely for a little guy.

Very cool. I love Mickey. In fact, when I took one of those FaceBook tests to determine which Disney character I was, I was Mickey. Would have been embarrassing had I been Cinderella.
