The portrait above,  of George Zimmerman, is rendered in Skittles, the candy that his victim, 17 year-old Trayvon Martin had just purchased before being hounded and shot to death in Sanford, Florida by the trigger-happy policeman wannabe.  Now Skittles have become a symbol of Martin’s innocence thanks to  artist Andy Bell.  The piece entitled, “Fear Itself”  hangs in the RedLine Gallery in Denver.   The portrait measures 36″ by 48″ and consists of 12, 250 Skittles glued to plywood and covered with varnish.
