Thanks Allee. She was really great; we chatted for quite a while. Most people who had come up to her just wanted to talk about "Peggy Bundy, Peggy Bundy..." Though she delighted people with their Bundy fandom--- she and I talked about some of her other work and a lot about John Ritter. Sweet woman with a hell of a strong singing voice!
I've always wondered what would be inside these. My grandmother has a few that she keeps in the bedrooms at their house; they were her mother's eggs!
I love the contrast against the deep red background.
I just wish I knew where to find stuff like this... because its so perfect!!! I love statues--- especially those with edge!
Awesome possum! Fluff is good stuff.
I JUST ordered 2 tix to your October show. I'm bringing my brother and will be on the right side, four back.
@Allee-- Thanks. But "Big Adventure"-- that was you???? I've had that on an MP3 on my computer for yeeeaarrsssssss... sent by a friend, but we could never tell it's origination!!! :)
@BeeJay-- Thanks, as well. I'm right behind you when it comes to Pee-wee Herman. The playhouse was the palace of kitsch as far as I'm concerned. You have seen this exact picture on Flickr, yes, as I have it on my Flickr account along with other pop-arted pics of various people and celebs. I have a nice one I did of Lynne Marie Stewart...still the prettiest woman in Puppetland!! I should submit that one, perhaps.
There's actually a matching Christmas tree my dad made along with that; I should find that picture too.
I really thank you so much for showing me this huge world of Kitsch and all it's glory.
You bet I'll be sharing more....
