A yard sale find. A great photo tucked between the pages of a forgotten book. I’m wondering if his loyal Boston Bull Terrier played fetch with all these squirrels.

Not that I’d ever want to shake hands with anyone who goes around carrying a handful of squirrels but I’d sure like to meet his dog. I had a slightly larger version named Pickles who was my most astounding pet ever (I hope Orbit, Hawkeye, Trigger, Sweet Potato, Nibbles, Niblett, Gravy, Celie, Fido, Pepi, Goldie or Martinian aren’t listening).
I love old hand tinted photos. If this, indeed, was Pickles in this photo her forehead would have been hand tinted pink as she always had a big smeared lipstick kiss on her head whenever I left the house.
How did I miss this? This is a wonderful find. I found an old love letter once tucked between the pages of a book long ago. I think my Mom still has it and will have to dig for that on my next trip home. Great post!
