Texas Hot Wieners has been around in Norristown since the 40′s I believe. I grew up eating these wieners. It’s funny to see how the area has changed by the bottom store window dressings! Now they are multi0cultural wieners. I remember 75 cent hot dogs! It’s actually called “Montgomery Lunch”, named after the borough, Montgomery County.

I want to eat here! That is if the interior resembles the sign more than the window art. Hopefully it’s still 1940 inside though that little contemporary chili drawing on the window has me scared of otherwise.

  2. mmmm this makes me hungry…

This is like a suburban version of “Pink’s Hot Dogs” in LA, but it’s a shame really as this is a neighborhood you wouldn’t want to walk in at night even for a hot dog.
