Father’s Day Wishes

Submitted by Markydoodle June 19th, 2011

My Dad never quite understands my shenanigans.  Here we are in 1984 with my sister Becky.  At the last second I decided to put my head on his shoulder in this picture.  Wasn’t received well by the old WWII vet that served in Saipan.

How lucky I am to still have my Dad, who will be 93 in August.  We won’t be together this year on Dad’s Day, so I wanted to honor him with this post.  He and I have both learned to be patient with one another through all of life’s strange twists and turns.  Or maybe not.

Happy Father’s Day!

The fun thing about this photo is your story and memory…… one you’ve kept…. that’s what counts. Happy Birthday to Dad and thank him for serving our country!

Thanks weave. On Monday the littlest Milligan will meet Dad. Dad is almost 100 times older than Quinn, my 9-month-old grandson.
