This invention is a 23 year calendar that, by rotating the outer ring to line up a year, you get a monthly calendar. On the back, there is an ad from the company that gave it away.

I used to be obsessed with these as a kid. Not that I was ever good (to this day) with any kind of little gadget like this but I loved all the writing and all the little things you could twist. I always like promotional bling that’s a little more distinctive than the normal cup or calendar.

I think I may have gotten this 23 year calendar in the late 50’s. About that time, I was giving a neighbor a ride to his job when his car broke down and on the back is a logo for the tractor company he worked for. In the late 30’s and 40’s I used to get all the decoder badges, siren rings, etc from cereal boxes…I wish I had kept them
