Love this one conceptually!
I like that you’re applying objects to the paintings. And I really love that the puzzle pieces look like a flock of birds, as if all of Julia’s rational thought was flying away. You’ve really captured her expression of confusion and desolation great as well.
I really like Julia as I can identify with her on so many levels.
I like the puzzle pieces as a textural element, really neat! Did you paint them as well or leave them as they were? I can’t quite tell.
Yet another winner Denny. You keep topping yourself, keep it up. I do like this one.
Thanks gang! The puzzle was something I found at the dump and is a vintage, 70′s puzzle that was housed in a tiny box.
Julia sends her love.
