I so wish I could have gone here, I love anything Space related, and this looks amazing. Iread that the original Tomorrowland opened at Disneyland on July 17, 1955. It also stated that the it was demolished in the mid 60′s and a re vamped Tomorrowland was re built. Does anyone have any more info on it, I found a few photographs

I so want her outfit and those boots…

Sorry the picture is a little small ..wanted to find one of the rocket. The clip below is of the original postcards…if only it was still there is its original condition..

I went when I was 14 but can’t remember any specifics other than it being my favorite land in Disneyland.

If I could, I’d walk around looking like a spaceman in the first photo all the time. Especially if they could dig up a way to insert air-conditioning in the suit.

Although Tomorrow land was updated nothing will ever be better than the original as other than at a few World’s Fairs nothing like it had ever been seen before. Not to mention that we were right on the brink of being shot up into space.

The original Tomorrowland was sadly revamped before my time…I’ve only seen videos…The Monsanto House of the Future looked amazing…I SO wish they would do a retro exhibit of the whole thing…they have enough dough, ya know!?!?
