I found this at an estate sale with otherwise “‘conventional” items…cover of box says “Oh! You mighty fisherman No matter what’s in the book Read inside for sound advice And keep this one off the hook.”

I’ve seen lots of these kind of 1950’s and 60’s sex novelties in little boxes before but this is one of the best and has to be really rare. The text on the cover makes hardly any sense and trying to link a fishermen together with THE male organ by way of a hook is SO out there.
Is The Peniscope illustration on the front of a little book? It looks too big to fit in the box. And it’s odd that the book would be about a too small organ verses the little underpants being about an oversized catch.
So little of it makes sense but it makes perfect Kitsch.
