The same recent rummage sale. This was the travel section. I didn’t move a thing. I just snapped away… but I was tempted to buy the pink flamingo souvenir.

I love everything in this photo except maybe the ratty ‘rug’ everything’s laying on. I love the pearlized cheap plastic as well as the classically kitsch locales these things promote. I really love that the Niagara Falls wallet is clarified as an ‘arial view’. I would’ve bought everything (except the rug).

I think that “ratty rug” was someone’s rejected knitting project. Worthy of a good tug-of-war with a puppy. What’s on top is priceless.

I love the Niagra Falls wallet! I used to get stitched wallets like this when we stopped at Stuckey Restaurant’s in the south. I used to have to get one from each state we stopped at if it was possible. My poor Mom.

Denny, you were ahead of your time. I like that…pick one souvenir theme and get one from every state.
Souvenirs were so refreshing back then.
