This is me livin’ large back in the late ’60s. My favorite “times-sure-have-changed-since-then” thing about this is that the newspaper just straight up printed our home address…

    Okay, this is pretty perfect, to be in the newspaper with a giant pumpkin and to not only have your address printed but your weight. I love your little pumpkin patch farmers overalls and your outstretched arms ready to hoist “Mr. Pumpkin” into what I hope is a waiting pickup truck so that soon after he turns into 100 perfect pumpkin pies.

  2. yes, i chose to let it slide back then – but anyone printing my weight and home address these days will certainly be hearing from my lawyers…
