    Thanks for sending the detail shots. For anyone reading this, these are some of the details inside the shell house that Shirlie Williams first alerted us to. They were sent to us by the daughter of the people who built the house and decorated it with shells themselves.

    oh wow…I wonder if there’s any way this place can be preserved as a historical attraction? I jsut read another thread about the daughter having to sell the place? It’s time like this that i wish I were rich….this place is so incredible! it HAS to be preserved!!!

    I am the new owner of the Shell House. I bought it two weeks ago.
    It is amazing – lots of shells inside as well as outside. You’d probably be really shocked by how many people have said “I hope you get rid of the shells!”. But the shells are safe with me – so long as I can work out how to clean them without damaging them. Will keep you posted.

      Hi again, just found your post…I cannot believe that people have said get rid of the shells…nooooo the house is a beauty , there is a shell house in Polperro ,but your is much more detailed….very exciting that it has so many shells on the inside..please keep us updated with your work..I love this house .
